- I am a seeker of knowledge because ignorance is a plague on society. In this election I have seen racism and sexism raise their ugly heads.It is a natural instinct to fear what you do not understand but fear turns to hate and hate to violence.There is no reason to be ignorant in America not in the age of instant information.Instead of trying to describe myself I am giving a glance a how I think.

Ok, as far as the reasoning for Obama's victory in this election, I completely disagree that it had anything to do with McCain lacking in anything, but instead, the fact that the crisis going on in this nation was blamed on Bush. Because of this, most of Americans had there mind made that they would vote democrat simply because problems occured during a republican's presidential term.
